COVID-19: Medical Workers qualify for FREE service until August 1st, 2020. Click here to learn more.

As a psychologist with more than 25 years of experience, I have been touched to my core as I read about the pressures, nurses, doctors, and other health care workers are facing during this pandemic. Long work days, few days off, inadequate PPE—all while you tend the very ill, and the dying every day. The fear of getting sick yourself or of infecting your family must always be with you. My heart goes out to you and to your loved ones.

If you are a front lines medical worker dealing with Covid19 patients everyday, I want to help. Based on many years of experience, I know that I can at least provide a supported, listening ear; I can listen without judgement to the deep mixture of feelings you must have. I can provide a safe place for you to express whatever these experiences are bringing up for you.

I am offering a new kind of coaching here (as opposed to psychotherapy.) If you are deeply depressed or suicidal, please call the 24 hour hotline at 800.273.8255.

While relationship and sexual issues are my specialty, I am no stranger to end of life issues. I have held the hands of the dying, and offered comfort to families. I have faced the loss of people very dear to me. In some sense I feel that I have come to terms with my own death. While I hope it’s a long time in the future, I believe I will face it without fear.

My practice is in Vallejo in Northern California, but right now everything I do professionally is by video or phone. If you would like discuss any if my services, please request a free consultation via email:

For those who are not front-line medical professionals, I will continue to provide fee-based services by video and phone. However, during this time of national emergency, my fee is whatever you can comfortably afford to pay. This policy will continue until at least August 1, 2020. We will reevaluate the situation at that time. My intention is to be sure that no one is denied services in this most challenging time.
